When I double click in a cell the cursor does not show up in the cell, I have to click into the formula bar to enter text.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
That does work. Thank - you. I found out why it wasn't working. I had a VB program that on a double-click it would pull up a validation list. This cell had no validation list. I deleted the code and it works now. Can someone tell me if I can add code to the sheet that will allow the double click to work on a cell without validation?

can you change your VB to just come up with short cut keys like Ctrl shift D or something like that?
