Hi All,

Is there a way that upon saving a document I can get certain cells to clear? We have a template form which people often save with their data left in and it can cause errors when someone else goes to use, so want it to be wiped after a save just in case.

IS this possible?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Try like this in the ThisWorkbook module

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_BeforeSave(ByVal SaveAsUI As Boolean, Cancel As Boolean)
Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A3,B4,C7").ClearContents
End Sub
