Word Macro (I am having difficulty)

I have a process which is repeated often which I would like to automate using macro.

I have several graphs which I copy from a program into work.

I then need to right click on the picture and select "edit picture" to convert it to a word drawing.

I then do various alterations, i.e. changing font of various texts and grouping all lines of a graph and resizing the graph

The same thing is done every time, and there are always the same number of lines in the graph, similar text in the same locations.

Can I automate this so I don't have to do this repetitive tast over and over? I am alright at using excel macro, but I find the word macro harder to grasp, and the editiing of pictures I fear may be hard to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Technically, yes, a macro could be used for this, but anyone trying to write one would need a great deal of detail, since manipulating the content of the contents of a converted shape is no trivial undertaking.

Word's macro recorder might give you some useful pointers if you record what you're doing with such an object.
