Do you when you turn the computer on, Excel automatically opens up some file?
Do you mean when you open excel, it automatically opens up to some workbook (Excel file)?
Do you mean when you open up a workbook, it autmatically opens up to some sheet?
Could you clarify?
(for most of the questions, a simple answer is not to enable macros when you open the file, though you may lose some functionality of the spreadsheet)

Go to your Windows start menu
choose programs
find "startup" or something like that (I'm Dutch speaking)
is there the name of the file which opens ==> remove it
(Windows 98 and further just drag it out of the menu)
is this a solution?
