Workbook Hangs

I'm having a problem with a 2 sheet workbook that contains quite a few formulas, but not what I would call an excessive amount, no hyperlinks or links to cells in other workbooks, that hangs everytime i try to navigate around a sheet. The strange thing is that it also happens when I set the calculate option to manual, which eliminates the formulas as the cause of this problem (?).
