Workbook links show incorrect path

I have a workbook with links to other external workbooks. The links work fine for all users except one. When he opens the sheet in Excel 2007 the links are broken. The path to the linked folder should look like this:
\\server\mainfolder\subfolder, when I open the edit links on his workstation the location says \\server\mainfolder\mainfolder\subfolder. You can fix the link and resave the file and it works until he re-opens it the next day. I've tried resaving the main file under a different name, etc. The links work for everyone else, does anyone know how I can clear out the bad link location for this one person?

Thanks
