Hi Guys,

I have a weird problem with Workbook.open method.
I build a tool and the last part was to add some features, like resizing the application window depend of if the file is opened as read only or not.
I put them into Workbook.Open and noticed weird situation. The code is going well through each line, resizing the window to the specific size and position on the desktop, but when Workbook.Open method is moving to the End Sub the whole windowstate is changing into maximized.

I tried to fix it using auto_open without workbook.open and it works well till the next problem appeared.

The tool is opened from other application as new excel instance and when I open it from this other application, which is also Excel, I noticed that auto_open is not working, so the only solution is to use Workbook.Open method, which is not working correctly.

Maybe you could help me with that?
I lost so much time for it and don't know what I could check more.

Please HELP!
