i use the following code to lock a sheet individually:

Sheets("Executive Summary").Protect Password:="techedit", UserInterfaceOnly:=True

what is the code to lock all sheet in a workbook using this same idea with a password of "techedit" and userinterfaceonly:=true

hope someone can assist

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Something like this maybe...

Code:
For Each Worksheet In ThisWorkbook.Worksheets
Worksheet.Protect Password:="techedit", UserInterfaceOnly:=True
Next

How and where does it fail?

Try this...

Code:
Dim ws As Worksheet

For Each ws In ThisWorkbook.Worksheets
ws.Protect Password:="Example", UserInterfaceOnly:=True
Next
