Hi,

I am using a spreadsheet as an effective database for several users.

I want to find out how to ensure that when the database workbook is opened, it doesn't get opened as a read-only file. This occurs if another user is accessing the database.

Is there a way to do this, or an effective work around ??

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks guys, I'll try sharing the workbook and see if that throws up any problems.
