Workday formula error

I have been tasked to create a resource tracking method for my department that will be primarily using MS Project. The initial information I am entering into Project will come from a New Project Form that I put together in Excel 2003.

There are 6 phases of a project that we use to chart our progress. I am using the workday formula to calculate the dates. It begins with a start date using a manual entry(8/4/2011 cell A1). The next cell is the number of days it will take to complete the phase (5 cell A2). The last cell calculates the end date =workday(A1,A2). It skips the weekend to give me 8/11/2011 in that cell.

My problem is kinda funky. I've run several tests on various computers in my department and I can't explain whats going on.

On some computers the formula works perfectly, on others it returns an error (#NAME?). It looks like it is unable to recognize the formula. We all have the same computers and same versions of Excel 03 so this has me at a loss.

Is there a setting that I am unaware of that needs to be activated on those? A checkbox? Download? Fist through the screen?

Any help would be great. My director is getting antsy.

Thanks
Bill

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Fist through the screen might be more satisfying but try Tools > Add-Ins, tick Analysis Toolpak then click OK.
