I have a date in D1 say 1/11/20 (always 1st of the month) with days of the month that payments are made in A17 downwards and a list of holidays in the range BankHolidays

So with 19 in A22 I would expect to bring 19/11/20 into B22 as it is a workday and is not in the BankHolidays range.

But with 1/12/20 in D1 for the month of December and 25 in A22 as both 25 & 28 are in the BankHolidays range I would expect to bring in 29/12/20

Seems simple enough but I seem to be going round in circles.

As ever your help is appreciated

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
How about
Excel Formula:
=WORKDAY($D$1+A22-2,1,BankHolidays)

Thank you both it works a treat.

Seems simple when you know the answer I think I was over complicating things in getting to the date.

Again my sincere thanks.
