Working out hours from timesheet

I have a gate log that lists incomings and outgoings of personnel. I would like to put a formula in that would work out the hours between the times. The gate log is set as follows:

06:23.4	in
07:25.4	out
09:08.5	in
17:51.1	out

<colgroup><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

Any help would be appreciated.

Change the time format as below:
00:00:00 AM
00:00:00 PM

A5: 6:23:04 AM
A6: 7:25:04 PM

A7: =(A6-A5)*24

Set format of result cell to [H]:mm:ss in case your time is with date. A2-A1 will work easily to get the answer 24 is used to convert it into hours.
