working with multiple values in same cell without affecting formula, ie. each time absolute value of the cell is only taken

Use formula in excel, using value in a particular cell at one time, i.e. absolute value only taken. If the value in the same cell changes, the previous working should not be affected. Is it possible?

i.e. if value in cell D1 is 1 at present and if connected by formula in F1, F1 should remain same, if value in D1 changes the next time
