In excel 2016, I am polling start and end times from a server for equipment run time.
The poll consist of total run time for current day, previous day, current month, previous month and is displayed as total minutes, decimal format.

Poll result: Previous Month total minute $A$1 = 18545.9837005615 (as a result of the polling, the cell format is general)
I need a formula that will round to the nearest minute (18546), and convert to hours, and minutes.

Example: 18545.9837005615 = 309 hours, 6 minutes
Prefer not to use a helper cell if possible. 65,000 + entries on the sheet!

Thanks so much!
Cheers!

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
How about
Excel Formula:
=ROUND(A2,0)/1440
and format the cell as [h]:mm
