Worksheet Name

In Excel I can put the name of the worksheet that I am printing in the footer with the "&[Tab]".

Is there a way to put the name of a worksheet ito a cell or part of a cell.
e.g. if my worksheet is named "January Totals", can I have cell A4 be the sum of cells A1:A3 and the worksheet name?

Following will add the range and pick up the worksheet-name:

=SUM(A1:A3) & "Totals :" & MID(CELL("filename"),FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))+1,LEN(CELL("filename",A1))-FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1)))

Make sure that You save the workbook first :)

Part two first:

this formula will return the name of a worksheet to a cell>

=RIGHT(CELL("filename",A1),LEN(CELL("filename",A1))-FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1)))

Note: this will ONLY work in a saved work book.

so to get the answer you need>

=SUM(A1:A3)&" "&RIGHT(CELL("filename",A1),LEN(CELL("filename",A1))-FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))).

Part one, there is add-in's out there that do just what you need, off hand I can remember the web addresses, Google should wield results for you.
Also, I tend to use the formula for that purpose as well as you have more control over how large a footer can be then (Doesn't work if you doing multiple pages, That why they're footers :biggrin:)
