Worksheet protection

I have a series of worksheets that are password protected, one sheet per each Supervisor's workbook. The users add data via a UserForm that unlocks the worksheet, adds the data, then re-protects the worksheet.

I also have a Master workbook that consolidates the data from each Supervisor worksheet and reassigns the employee records to the new supervisors based on an Employee List. This has been working fine until just recently. For some reason the Reassign VBA code appears to unlock the worksheet but when I try to copy the new data I get an error and I have to manually unlock the worksheet begfore the code will continue.

Any ideas what is causing this?
