Wrap Text

I would like to know if there is a way to remove the wrap text as a default on my excel. anytime I insert a new worksheet and paste something into it, it wraps the text automatically. It is driving me crazy to have to unwrap text, and then for it to turn on again when I paste something new in worksheet.
Thanks
~Sylvia

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
You could always try to Paste special - values. however, you'll lose formatting for numbers/dates/etc, as well.

Thanks, but that is not what I was looking for. I was hoping there was some setting in Excel that would handle this. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Under the menu option: Format / Cells, on the Alignment tab, is Wrapping enabled?

If so, you merely need to uncheck that option. It is possible that it got saved in your default template file (which is loaded each time you start Excel). Read on how to save a new default template after making the changes you want (in this case, no wrapping).
