Hi There
I have a formula with concatenate:
=CONCATENATE('Sheet1'!E5," ",'Sheet1'!G5)

And would like to wrap this in a text function
e5 is month and g5 year

to ensure it shows as text in the following format "mmmm yyyy"

help plz

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Rather than concatenating the fields, couldn't you just use:
Excel Formula:
=TEXT(Sheet1!E5,"mmmm")&" "&TEXT(Sheet1!G5,"yyyy")

Solution
Cross-posting (posting the same question in more than one forum) is not against our rules, but the method of doing so is covered by #13 of the Forum Rules.

Be sure to follow & read the link at the end of the rule too!

Cross posted at: Using the TEXT function and Concatenate function in one formula
If you have posted the question at more places, please provide links to those as well.

If you do cross-post in the future and also provide links, then there shouldn’t be a problem.
