Hello community,

i have 3 columns in excel

column 1column2column3
12222 (blank)NOT OK
YES(blank)OK
YESdoubleNOT OK
13444doubleNOT OK

the first column contains numbers and a text " YES"
the second colum contains empty cells(blank) and a text " Double"

i want to write an IF formula in column 3 that can show either "ok" or "not ok" depending on all 4 conditions.
if column 1 is showing numbers and column 2 is empty then not ok , and if column 1 contains YES and column 2 is empty then OK , and if column 1 is YES and column 2 is double then not ok and finnaly if column 1 is numbers and column 2 is double then not ok.

hope that i'm clear. thanks all

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
How about this...

Book1
ABC
112222NOT OK
2YESOK
3YESdoubleNOT OK
413444doubleNOT OK
5
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
C1:C4C1=IF(AND(A1="YES",B1=""),"OK","NOT OK")
