Hey guys,

Was wondering if anyone can help me. So I have txt/numbers in A1 and want to display specific text in B1 when a specific text/number is displayed in A1. So for example, if "16-100" is in A1, I want it to say "Electrical" in B1.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
In B1 try to run A VLOOKUP formula...

=VLOOKUP(A1,Table,2,0)

where Table is 2-column table that associates string like 16-100 with strings like Electrical. You need to set up Table yourself in advance.
