I have an equation for determining what the win percentage of a team is, and the amount of games behind the leader they are. I'm writing to figure out what would the equation would be for determining what the magic or elimination number for any team in relation to another. The equation that I have so far is this . . .

Magic Number =IF(E3=162, "Clinched",B4+(162-E3)-B3+1)
Elim Number =IF(E4=162, "Eliminated", (162+1)-B3-C4)
Where E3 & E4 are the numbers of games played by their respective teams
B3 & B4 are the teams respective wins (first, second place)
C3 & C4 are the teams respective losses (1st, 2nd place)

With these numbers this is what I get for the current right race that exists in Baseball National League Central Division race.

Team, Wins, Losses, Ties, Games Played, Win %, GB, M/E #
1. Milwaukee 58-49-0 107, .5421, -, 54
2. St. Louis 56-50-0 106, .5283, 1.5, 47
3. Pittsburgh 54-50-0 104, .5192, 2.5, 47
4. Cincinnati 51-55-0 106, 4811, 6.5, 42

But the M/E numbers on (mlbmagicnumbers.com) tell a different story (and numbers for that matter) . . .
1. Milwaukee 55
2. St. Louis 58
3. Pittsburgh 60
4. Cincinnati 63

Am I doing the equations right on this one or are they off in any way?

On Riot Baseball pages(http://riot.ieor.berkeley.edu/~baseball/faq.html), they have come up with numbers that are better then you "bread and butter" magic or elimination number. If any one can help me make the equation for these numbers using the table format above it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all the help and input.
