I often work from Linux and am then restricted to Excel online. Would that be possible to create a variant of XL2BB working on Excel online, so that I could post spreadsheets without the need to reboot my machine?
Theoretically I envision it as a Web service, where I enter a URL of a shared spreadsheet and indicate the range I want to be captured.
Then the server of the service automatically opens the spreadsheet, captures what needs to be captured and sends me the code.
Alternatively, it might directly operate on Excel online and extract all formulas from there.

I'll pass this on & see what response I get.

There are ongoing discussions about porting XL2BB to Excel Online, but first we need to concentrate on ironing out the kinks in the add-in version.
So whilst it's a possibility, it won't be in the near future.

Sounds much better than an outright "No".
