Using Excel 2010 - Portuguese - Brazilian version

When I paste the range using XL2BB the formulas are correctly translated from Portuguese to English.
See cell D2 where the MÁXIMO function was translated to MAX - Perfect!

Book1
ABCD
1NameScoreMaxScore
2Anthony1012
3John11
4Mary12
Plan3
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D2D2=MAX(B2:B4)
Cells with Conditional Formatting
CellConditionCell FormatStop If True
B2:B4Expression=B2=MÁXIMO(B$2:B$4)textNO

However, the same is not true of the formulas used in Conditional Formatting - note above that the MÁXIMO has not been translated to MAX.
I don't know why, but maybe CF formulas are being treated as text.

It's not serious - I can live with this by translating formulas with a macro I've been using for a long time - but I thought it was important to report.

Marcelo, I will add it to the list of things to be considered for improvement. Thanks for reporting it.
Can you check if the same thing happens for a formula used in custom Data Validation please?

Peter

Thanks for answering

As requested: testing Data Validation using formulas

Book1
A
1Completed
2Yes
3No
4No
5Yes
6Yes
Plan4
Cells with Data Validation
CellAllowCriteria
A2:A6Custom=CONT.SE($A$2:$A$6;"No")<=2

Formula was not translated - neither the CONT.SE function nor the argument separator were presented as per US - version.

Should be
=COUNTIF($A$2:$A$6,"No")<=2

Thanks Marcelo. I will pass that on too. No promises about the result. though. ;)

More tests...

Book1

E2:E4E2=B2=MAX(B$2:B$4)
Cells with Conditional Formatting
CellConditionCell FormatStop If True
B2:B4Expression=B2=MÁXIMO(B$2:B$4)textNO

The logical results in E2:E4 (Falso/Verdadeiro) were not translated to False/True
