One of our users has a problem that just started today. Every time she tries to enter a whole number (ex. 783, 560, 646), in any worksheet or workbook, it defaults to a decimal (ex. 7.83, 5.60, 6.46). The cells are formatted for general. If I try to manuall change the cell format to numbers with no decimals, the numbers are rounded.

I re-installed Excel to manufacturer default (which is the way it is on my machine - and I don't have this problem). She doesn't have anything in XLstart, she doesn't have a personal.xls file.

What could be causing this?

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
I suspect you need the format to numbers with at least two decimal places... In the format...

Go to Tools/Options/Edit tab and uncheck Fixed decimals
