XLK

Hi, just got a spreadsheet from 200x (could be 2002 or before). Everytime I save it it creates an XLK (backup) file. Is there anything which I can do at my end to stop this (I am on 2003).?

Hi try this....

Do a file save as....
click on tools in the top right of the save as menu
choose general options, untick the always create backup copy box (If its ticked)
Resave the doc over itself.
