I have a question. How do you i use Xlookup with a sumproduct. I have total cost amount in one tab. but that total cost amount is combined of three different items with differing rates in another tab. The tab that has the cost has dates as columns, but the tab that has the rates has those same dates but in rows.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Could you give an example of your data set?

Unsure of what exactly you are trying but SUMIF/SUMIFS might be a better option that combining an XLOOKUP and SUMPRODUCT.

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

For sample data as requested by @R4bbit please consider XL2BB
