I've been searching the forums and found a bit on this but nothing completely clear as I see some saying this and that opens, and others saying it is just too difficult.

I have some spreadsheet templates used by quite a few people, and one of them has others using it but saying they are struggling with it on both Macs and when in OpenOffice.

From what I understand... OpenOffice is completely different and with VBA there is really no chance of adding workarounds in the code to work. Would that be a fair way to look at it?

And with Mac... it can depend on which Excel PC version and what Mac version as some work on earlier Mac Version and some don't. Would that be also right?

Is there a way to adapt a template with quite a bit of VBA with possible workarounds in the code to be compatible and work on Mac or OpenOffice at all?

I am using Excel 2003 (PC) but also have Excel X (v10) for Mac if that helps to work in?

Thanks
