I have 2 xlsb files located in my XL start folder. They have worked well for months. A few weeks back, When I open up a XLSM file that references an XLSB file in XLStart, the file opens up and dispalys a conventional excel workwook instead of staying hidden.
I tried recreating the XLSB file from scratch by copying the modules over to a new XLSB file but that did not change the behavior. My nest step to to recreate the XLSB file and the individual modules from scratch by copying the source code over one module at a time.
Any idea on how this might have happened and the best way to recover?
