Here is the set up: there are 5 columns of data (the # of rows changes dynamically based on the Region): column 1=geography (Region, Area, Garage), column 2=Projected, column 3=Previous day, column 4=Percentage and column 5=Objective. Column 1 has data in every cell broken down with Region on the 1st row, then Area on the 2nd row and finally Garage in the next X amount of rows. It then repeats again starting with Area, then X amount of garages, then Area then X amount of garages, etc.
Column 2, Projected, has data that corresponds to Region, Area & each Garage
Column 3, Previous Day, also has data that corresponds to Region, Area & each Garage
Column 4, Percentage, is a formula of column 2 divided by column 3. The % is ONLY calculated any time column 1 states "Region" or "Area". No calculation if column 1 states "Garage", it leaves the cell empty.
Here is my dilemma: I need to calculate column 5, Objective, based on the calculated percentage formula for the current Area. When the area changes, the next group of garages is calculated on the percentage formula for that group's Area and so on. The area could change 3 times or 15 times.
I would provide a pic, but have not figured out how!
