XP - green triangle not wanted

How do I get rid of the green triangle in the top left corner of the cells, PERMANENTLY ?

mine doesn't seem to want to go away

I never want to see it again when I log in....

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Hi Chris :)

I think it may be a "smart tag."

If you go into your AutoCorrect options, there is a tab for Smart Tags where you can turn off "label data with smart tags"

I'm not positive on this, but that's what it sounds like, at any rate.

You might try tools | options | error checking | Enable background error checking
