Years Along Horizontal Axis of 2d Area Chart

Greetings!
Can the years be shown across the Horizontal axis of 2d area chart? Currently, the blow data produces a 2d chart with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, across the horizontal axis. I understand that I can insert a text box with dates along the axis but that not the desired endstate. I'm using MS Office professional plus 2016. Thank you in advance
