I have a table called Tasks and I want to add any data entries from this column to another table as a yes/no field for my Staff table.

Is this possible? Whats the best approach? Basically I want the columns to update automatically the Task rows are added to or deleted

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Following the rules of data normalization you would calculate the data as needed. This means you would only store the data in the Tasks table. You would not also store it in the Staff table. The key to a properly normalized relational database is that data is only stored in one place.

One one to handle this is on a form that is displaying data from the Staff table also includes a sub form that shows the calculated yes/no values from the task table.
