As everyone else seems to have found this ridiculous new feature in Excel 07: once I am editing in a cell, I can't use the scroll wheel to move around my s/s and find the cells I need.

I can see numerous answers to this, but I've tried every one and they don't work:

Advanced Editing Options: Allow editing directly in cells- CHECK; Zoom on roll w/ IntelliMouse - CHECK.

Control Panel > Mouse > Wheel option. Mine doesn't allow me to revert to any previous setitng. The only wheel setting under this tab is whether the wheel scrolls by line or by sheet.

The mouse i have is an ergonomic one by Countour Designs (http://ergo.contourdesign.com/products/product-detail.aspx?id=2) so I don't know if its a driver thing

ANY advice would be greatly appreciated!!
