We have a company of about 75 computers and majority of everyone uses Windows XP. We have 2 computers though that are using Windows 7. These 2 Windows 7 machines are located at another branch. For some reason, when they're trying to save excel spreadsheets, they get the error below:
I've verified that it's not a permissions issue, and it's not an AV issue. I've logged on to one of their machines as a domain admin, disable Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Agent and is still experiencing this issue. I'm honestly not sure what to do next... Microsoft support articles suggest permissions or AV but it's neither of them causing this.
The computers running Windows XP don't have any problems with this. I'm having a feeling it's the way Windows 7 talks to the network some kind of way because there's no difference in the software we use on the Windows XP machine vs the Windows 7 machine.
Your changes could not be saved to 'file.xls', but were saved to a temporary document named '8A57000'. Close the existing document, then open the temporary document and save it under a new name.
