Zero drops at the end of a number

I upload a list of reference numbers from a website into an excel spreadsheet. If this number has a zero at the end of it, excel will drop it. For example if the number should read 4445550, excel will show 444555. My reference numbers are both 4445550 and 444555 so I can't assume that a zero should be placed there. If I save this file from the website into a text file the number will show correctly.

Is there a way to format the cells so that it shows all the characters given?

Thank you for your help!!

Hi -

Welcome to the board.
the question is, how would you upload the file? is it using web query or something? would it be possible to provide the link to the site you're talking about?
