I am using the following formula, =B84*C84+E84+G84. and when the previous cells are empty I get zero for an answer, is there some addition to the formula that will get rid of the zero's?

Do you want the formula to show "" as long as one or more of those cells in the formula are blank... is that what you are asking for?

Your requirements are unclear. If you want a numeric answer if at least one cell is non-empty, try:

=IF(COUNT(B84,C84,E84,G84)=0, "", B84*C84+E84+G84)

If you want a numeric answer only when all cells are non-empty:

=IF(COUNT(B84,C84,E84,G84)<>4, "", B84*C84+E84+G84)
