Zip Code to Zip Code Driving Distance formula

I have been looking for and experimenting for 2 weeks trying to put together a set zip code to Customer Zip code formula but I continue to to get a straight line distance and I need a driving distance.

I saw reference to using bing maps database to do this.

Totally Stuck ..... anyone ever done this kind of project before.
