Excel 2020: Settings in the Excel Options Menu

Consider a few of these settings after you choose File, Options:

General, Start Up Options, Unselect Show The Start Screen When This Application Starts to skip the Home screen. Excel will open directly to a blank workbook. (Thanks to Dave Marriott)


Advanced, Editing Options, Unselect After Pressing Enter, Move Selection. When you type a value in a cell, Excel will stay in the same cell. (Thanks to Ed Hansberry)

Advanced, Editing Options, Automatically Insert a Decimal Point. You type 12345. Excel gets 123.45.
