Working with the underlying Excel Post System recently, As a copy a given amount of text from outside the site and then I come into the Post New Thread Textbox and either 1) Control+V, right-click-select Paste NOTHING gets pasted in. What's the problem? Anyone experienced this before?

Also, while I'm asking... What is the purpose of the first 2 icons A/A and A(x)A? Under what conditions should I select either one of them?

Thanks in advance.

Jim

1. I'm able to paste outside text in new threads with ctrl-v and right click paste. Does this happen even after you reboot?

2. Are you referring to the Post and Arrow icons?

I do not understand what this means:

Actually, I'm referring to the buttons

1) switch editor to source mode
2) remove format

Are you trying to copy your vba script into this forumn?

Have problem whether either:

1) vb script
or
2) Normal text from elsewhere.

I'll try rebooting NOW!!

Thanks,

Jim

Are you using Windows 10 recent update with MSEdge?
If so I'm not able to post Vba scripts into this forum.

I have to paste the script into NotePad then copy from NotePad into this forum.

This is a known problem. MS says they are working on.

Still not working !!
