I've installed (to XL2007 on PC laptop with Win10) and activated the MrExcel HTMLMaker Add-In as described on the Forum Rules page, and added the folder location as a Trusted Location, but still do NOT see it appear in the Add-Ins menu.

I can see the XLAM project in the VBE Project window.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Is the add-in unblocked? In Explorer, right-click it and choose Properties, then unblock if it isn't already.

I don't get that option (on the General tab) - is that because I've trusted the folder holding the xlam file?

It could be. Does it appear in the list of Disabled items when you choose to manage add-ins in Excel?

No - it's shown in the list of Active Application Add-Ins at the top of the View & Manage Add-Ins window.

Can you check the option to show add-in interface errors and then restart Excel and see if you get any messages?

That option (Excel Options / Advanced / General) was already checked and I've restarted several times since installing the add-in.

It should create its own tab, not be in the add-ins tab.

Rory - thanks for your persistence. (y)

No such luck. Nothing, zilch, nada!

It looks to me like the initialising VBA or ribbon mod's are not working. Could be anything to do with XL2007 as the user cannot customise the ribbon in 2007?

If you right click a cell do you see 3 additions to the menu?
