Hi all.
I would like to know following things of poster's environment.

1.Version of Excel(5.0 or 97 or 2000 or 2002(XP))
2.OS (Windows or Mac)
3.Version of language(US,Colombia,Jpn ond so on...)

If possible to make input boxes in new topic page,
and we could know about above,
I guess, we can show a more exact reply to a poster.

How do you think about this?

Nice idea Colo.

I think this may have been discussed before. I know I would like at least to know what version of Excel the poster is using. I've ran into problems in the last week with VBA functions being introduced in Excel 2000, but the OP is using Excel 97.

However, I think that the argument against this may be that we should try to provide solutions that can be used in any version of Excel. (although this argument is perhaps more strongly presented by the folks that don't dabble in VBA as you, myself and others do)

Hi Mark, Thank you for your reply.

Yes, of course I think so too.

When we are asked by poster such as "Why it doesn't work? "
It is better to be known a poster's xl version, in order to trace the cause of poster's error.
