Has the length of time one can stay logged in been changed, maybe due to the recent hack? I have been automatically logged out twice today. That has never happened before.

Thanks,

Gary

The site settings weren't changed in the roll-back. However there was an SSL added and the new settings are at 15 minutes until it logs you out. No, you're not crazy. ;)

Zack Barresse,

Does that mean if I am working on a response to someone, that, if I am not finished within 15 minutes, I will be logged out automatically?

As far as I know, yes. I'm working with someone to confirm the time limit. Will post when I know more.

If you use the "Remember Me" option, then that doesn't happen (but you shouldn't do that on a publicly accessed computer).

This has already given me a few mini-heart attacks by now  Actually came here to write about it after just posting something.

Writing some involved post or reply or just testing things out while writing, pressing Submit, being told I'm now logged out, with the form and thus my lengthy submission gone... Fortunately the (combination of) my browser and/or this site posting it anyway has revitalized my condition again each time... I'm thus fortunately still alive :)

Seeing my history, this was thus already in effect since last November?
