Hello all;

I'm still learning advanced excel functions, so I really appreciate any help provided! I hope my terminology is correct too:

If I have a value in cell A1, can I use that value as a variable to target an file for opening?

Say I have a .doc saved in a job number file numbered 1001. In my spread sheet I have A1 containing the job number. The target document is located: Libraries\Documents\jobnumber(a1).

Ideally, I'd like to have a button that when pressed pulls up that .doc that relates to the data within the spreadsheet.

How would I go about achieving this? Any further explanation as to HOW this works would also be greatly appreciated... like I said; I'm still learning :)
