Help !

I have a report i do every month, it has about 30,000 lines of transactions each one has a customer account number.

is there a way on a new sheet to search through the master data and total sum all the same customer accounts to show one number??

this might be simple, but for the past few months i have been doing it manually !!!

Thanks in advance !

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
If your just want to sum one account number use SUMIF
otherwise try Pivot Table to sum figures by account number
