The title explains most of what I want to know, is there a way to create multiple filters on the same excel sheet, in the same columns without the use of tables. This would be to filter multiple sets of data to determine who is leading over others on a simple report. In this case I would need to be able to filter both top and bottom sets of data.

That is quite a neat table and certainly has taken you much time to assemble.

Unfortunately it may tell you most of what you want to know I'm afraid that it leaves me with many questions.
Firstly, what is the significance of "Team Ldr" and "Team"? Your table suggest that may be ignored.
Secondly, has the lower table been derived from the top table?
If so, what criteria has been used?
Thirdly, some concept of how the maths across the columns (and even downwards) is probably imperative.

Thank you for responding! For the sake of this question, all I am looking for is a way to create multiple active filters in different ranges but also located in the same columns. It does seem like a simple question to answer and maybe it is, but I haven't found a way to do this without the use of tables, the reason I do not want to use other tabs or different locations of the worksheet are for reporting and visibility purposes - i.e. it needs to look simple enough to understand. You can pretty much disregard the table given it is just there to give an idea of two sets of data in the same columns and where I want two active filters to be.

You haven't defined what filtering you require.

I asked those questions to gain some concept so that either myself or some other know precisely what we are to do.
