    Perhaps, I don't know...

    Does this help?

    =VLOOKUP(SUBSTITUTE("Total Disc / Coup"," ",CHAR(180)),'C:\FH276 QB WEEKLY 2017\Royalty\[report.xls]sheet1'!$A$1:$N$50,14,FALSE)

Aladin, I really appreciate you spending time on this.

The formula returned a #N/A error code. I also took the file from the internet, Report.xls, and saved it as an xlsx file without success. The next thing I'm going to try is to move the exact files I'm using on my PC to the laptop and report the results. I'm using Excel 365 on both computers. I'm wondering if it's a setting or something.

Found out there is another coup / disc entry on this spreadsheet and my formula was reading the wrong entry. Everything works. I apologize for not doing my due diligence before posting and will make sure I do in the future. I have accomplished a lot over the years using this site as a resource.

    Thanks again.

No problem. Great that it's resolved. Thanks for the update.
