Linked table issue when inserting new row

I have a spreadsheet with a master roster tab containing names of individuals and their different positions. To assist in maintaining subsequent sheets, I've created tables that use data connections referencing the master table so as I add a name to a position and refresh the data, that name is then added to all of the other tables via the data connection. This works great, however on the other tabs there is additional information populated next to the names. I'm finding out that if I add a name and update the data set, the name updates in all of the linked tables, but it messes up the adjacent data. It's almost as if it's not inserting an entirely new row. Any ideas?
