Hey guys! I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to pull qty for inventory numbers from my main tab by typing in the name and qty on another tab? Do I have to set up the column with a certain function? If you have further questions let me know!

Thank you

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Perhaps if you showed some samples of your data and expected outcome, it would help offering suggestions :)

For example I have the main tab with the inventory of things we have in stock. All other tabs are for each vendor and we type up their orders in their corresponding tabs. Is it possible to be typing up and order for a vendor and when I type in the name of the product and qty, it will automatically take it out of the main inventory sheet?
