I have been working in document.docx where I want to open Excel file as object, find some text in this object and delete entire row of found text.

I had opened the EMEA CC FINAL LIST.xls successfully but I am getting error in finding the text. I am new to VBA, please help.

Code:
Dim xC As Object

xC.Workbooks.Open "C:\Users\dell\Desktop\EMEA CEEMEA\EMEA CC FINAL LIST.xls"With xC
    .Application.Cells.Find(What:="serbia", After:=ActiveCell, LookIn:=xlFormulas, LookAt _
        :=xlPart, SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlNext, MatchCase:= _
        False, SearchFormat:=False).Activate
    .Application.ActiveCell.Rows("1:1").EntireRow.Select
    .Application.Selection.Delete Shift:=xlUp
End With

xC.Quit
