2-Excel WB's to 1-PowerPoint?

Is it possible to have two (or more) excel workbooks linked to one powerpoint?>

I currently have a financial template setup to compile data/information that is then linked do a powerpoint. This way, at each month end, you select the latest date and the most recent information is populated into the PPT.
Is this still possible to have different PPT sheets looking at different excel WB's?
